Application forms

Requests for the issuance of documents confirming legal facts are accepted in person at the state archives, by post, by email.

Private information is provided only after the applicant’s identity has been verified. When such a request is sent by post, email, a copy of the applicant’s identity document must be attached. If the request is submitted by an authorized representative, they must additionally provide documents confirming both their identity and authorization to represent the applicant.

The document search services provided by the State Archives are subject to a fee. The applicable fees are set out in the Pricelist of the Services Provided by the State Archives, approved by the Office of the Chief Archivist of Lithuania No. VE-30 of 8 July 2022 (as amended by Order No. VE-23 of 9 December 2025), List of fees for paid services of the state archives.
