List of Digitized Lithuanian State Historical Archives Files
The Lithuanian State Historical Archives (LSHA) announces a new tool for researchers and all those interested in historical heritage – a list of all digitized LSHA files accessible through the EAIS digital reading room. The list provides the date of upload to EAIS, allowing readers to see when a specific file became available remotely.
In addition, a separate list of digitized LSHA files is published on the “E-paveldas” portal. We remind you that all these files are also accessible via the EAIS digital reading room, so users can choose the search method most convenient for them.
The list is compiled cumulatively and will be updated regularly – planned at least once every 1–2 months. This means that researchers can continuously track which new files have become available.
The list is provided in Excel format, allowing users to conveniently use filtering and search functions. This is especially useful because it is possible to search for necessary files by personal names, place names, or other keywords, significantly facilitating the search for sources.
Note on file accessibility. The annotation in the Excel file explains that not all uploaded files are immediately available to users. In such cases, the corresponding column is marked with a “0,” meaning that the file has been uploaded to the system but is not yet publicly accessible.
