Updated List of Digitized Files Published

The Lithuanian State Historical Archives has published an updated list of digitized files. Between 1 May and 1 July 2026, 340 files comprising 40,728 digital images were uploaded to the Electronic Archive Information System (EAIS).

The majority of the newly published documents consist of records from Roman Catholic church fonds, including parish registers and parishioner lists. EAIS has been supplemented with digitized records from the Roman Catholic church collections of Seirijai, Kurkliai, Svėdasai, Traupis, Joniškėlis, Akmenė, Kruopiai, Viekšniai, Želva, Vepriai, Pabaiskas, Siesikai, Pakruojis, and other parishes.

The documents cover the period from the late 18th century to the mid-20th century and are written in various languages, including Latin, Polish, Russian, and Lithuanian.

Among the newly digitized materials is a notable visual source: a photographic album from the “Document Collection” fonds. The album, dating from the late 19th to the early 20th century, contains photographs of Pašušvys Manor from the collection of Antanas Zaborskis (1850–1906). It offers a valuable glimpse into the culture of Lithuanian manor estates and everyday life of the period (album).

We invite researchers and the public to explore these newly published historical sources through the EAIS digital reading room.
